Okay, now is the time for some fun and controversy.
I am going to talk about sexuality today.
The surroundings we have been brought up in, sexuality has been a tabooed topic. But since now the times are changing, we are not scared to talk about it.
I am not saying that it is a milestone in our country’s development that we can talk about it in open- with our girl friends and our guy friends too.
I have been discussing it with a friend and then the crux was that girls hide their physical feelings. I say why? That doesn’t mean I am a nymphomaniac, but I have brought up this issue because I wanted to find out. Is it so?

I do not come from a metropolitan, but I have seen around myself, in my friends and my circle, that girls are coming out of their shells as far as their sexuality is concerned, they talk about it, discuss it, take and also give tips.
I am not favouring it, neither am I opposing it. Getting physical is a matter of choice, but one should go for it only if they are mature enough to handle it.
So girls, the darker side here talks of the feelings. Do we need to hide them or do we feel free to express them?

y does sex talk or sexuality has to be dark??? nah i don't like the falling hearts
i so agree with you yaar.. i dont know why girls talking about sexuality is such a bold topic,we have our needs and wants and our fetieshes we may not be open about it or socially conditioned..to speak about it..but that doesnt render them non existent ... see i personally think we should express and be vocal..because if we donot say how are the guys to know what we want or feel?i feel its only fair..and in this age where talking about the big O getting in focus, its important for us to express, demand and enjoy the pleasures which comes so natural to all...
after all we have gone past the lame story of birds and bees...
great post!!! akdom dhasu
way to go raka...how long we guys are going to speculate what you want???...go ahead be vocal about it :)
i dont know about guys... but i know about my guy... and he knows what i want...:D and there is still time to discover what i want... when that time arises... i will be extremely vocal about it... the only thing i desire from ym guy is to have the ability to recognize and appreciate that a girl is not a sexual object that she has her desires to be sensitive towards it and deal with her wants and wishes too and not just indulge himself...
I dont think talking abt sex or sexuality is dark...on the contrary I think it is pretty bright :)
Sexuality is no more taboo...and it is no more dark either... Good you brought it up... :)
its the thin line between sex and love
if a guy says " i wanna have sex with you", the game is more or less over... but when he says " i wanna make love to you" the fulcrum tilts.
touchwood.. man.. as long as you know what you say is not gonna harm anyone else, nothing is wrong....
I think talking about it should not be made taboo any longer-its a topic that needs to be disussed frequently and openly with the youth because is in their benefit!
We need to express cos how else will people know?
But again.. send the right signals and more importantly, to the right people. :)
@ Abhishek
i chose this title, cuz still many girlz will not want to talk about it, it will still remain their darker side and i wanted to illuminate this darker side..

agreed totally, we need to know the facts and not the myths. it is not a dirty thing, but it is a phenomenon the nature has blessed us with..
richa
babes you are right on this one and there is no question of backing..because on your own you stand tall with whatever you write and with the conviction and confidence you write on...

@ Ria
yeah tw whole point of this post is 'thers nothing wrong in it'
Is sexuality a tabooed topic in india. If thats the case how come our country's population never seems to resonate with that idea.
If we not gonna talk abt sex (both boys and gals - for guys i mean quality talk not just randy comment passing) which is very very basic to us.. then what are we going to discuss really.
And i believe sexuality isnt just about having coitus, its about our attitude towards it. our attitude towards various issues like virginity, same sex marriage, remarriage, affairs and so on....
sexuality is more of whats in the mind than whats on the body. I agree with richa when she says tat it s still a taboo topic. yes. we here talk abt it but we are a mere fraction of what the society fully is.
And the majority of the society is still prejudiced.
